Messiah is hosted by actor, producer, and director Leonardo Defilippis.  He is the president and founder of Saint Luke Productions.  After years as a Shakespearean actor, he embarked on a spiritual journey that led him to found this Catholic theater company in 1980. 
He performed at World Youth Day in Denver and in Rome.  His work has inspired vocations to religious life, and he has won numerous awards over the decades.  
His works include the feature film, Therese, and plays including Vianney and Maximilian.  
Leonardo Defilippis produces award-winning theater, film, and media works on the life of Jesus Christ and saints from ancient to modern times. Best known for his feature film Thérèse and nationally-touring live dramas, his mission is to renew the culture through the arts.
